Chautauqua County is part of the federal designated Regional Battery Tech Hub and will welcome Electrovaya to its manufacturing community in 2024.
The Southern Tier counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Broome, Tioga, Tompkins, Otsego, Cortland, Delaware, Schoharie, and Chenango are all included in this designation from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
