Superior Energy Innovations is our September Johnson/BPU Good Neighbor of the Month, thanks to their contribution to our Good Neighbor Fund. We truly appreciate their generosity.

Our John Alfred & Oscar Johnson Memorial Trust/BPU Good Neighbor Fund assists customers with a one-time payment on their BPU bills. If you are a customer who:

• makes regular bill payments

• has not received social services assistance on your utility bill

• are currently facing financial hardship 

you may qualify for this type of help. This program is open to all income levels.

What do we mean by a financial hardship? Examples:

• An unknown leak in your plumbing may result in high water bills quickly

• An accident or sudden illness could tie up your regular income for a period of time

• Sudden unemployment could prevent you from paying BPU bills right away

• Immediate house repairs leave you with utility bills you can't pay on time.

Call the Salvation Army in Jamestown at 716-664-4108 and ask for an appointment to see if you qualify. The Salvation Army is located at 81 South Main Street, near Brooklyn Square.
